This wreck happened at 7th Avenue and 7th Street. The Jeep SUV was traveling Northbound on 7th Street. The red car traveling Eastbound on 7th Avenue hit the Jeep in the drivers door. The impact spun the Jeep around and over on it's top.
The driver of the Jeep suffered a head injury and was transported to UTMB.
When she was loaded onto the stretcher, Acting-Captain Joe Clark noticed her diamond missing from her ring. So he looked for it on the ground and in the vehicle. It was only after the Jeep was turned back over and loaded onto the wrecker that he found the diamond in the pic below. It was in the broken glass in the last pic.
