This is the last electric fan setup I went with right before going back to a stock clutch fan setup.
I was having major overheating problems when towing my 22' Center Console Boat or the 25' camper. The electric fans could not keep up.

My buddy cut a piece of aluminum from a pattern I made to house the fan. |
I then shot it with self etching primer. |
How it fits on the shroud. I offset the hole to center the fan on the radiator. |
I then shot it black |
I then used Polyurathane to seal it around the edges inside. |
And outside |
This is how the old setup looked. |
The new setup waiting to go in place. I had to bolt the fan on the inside so it would clear my pullies. |
Inside view of fan in place |
Shroud setup in place. This setup worked very nice and kept it cooler than when the fan was directly on the radiator. Though as I said, it would not hold up to towing. |
