Cadillac 4 Note Horns
Installed early model Cadillac 4-note horns (the 4 notes are A, C, D & F.) that were an option on the big boat vehicles back in the day. You can hit up some junk yards (take a cordless drill battery with you to test them) or get them off eBay. Just do a search for Cadillac 4-note horns on eBay, Goggle or YouTube.
I got mine off eBay from a guy who tests, cleans, paints and guarantees them for a year (auction link.) Mine came off a 1984 Cadillac Deville and I paid about 80 bucks with shipping. While the train horns are 154db and these are only about 120db, they sound just like the train horns plus they're legal so I can blast them all day long, which is great.
The videos I shot does not do them justice, as they are quite loud.
Here's the schematic I made up showing how I wired them. I most likely went overkill, but I read where they can draw quite some power.
"A" Note Horn
"C" Note Horn
"D" Note Horn
"F" Note Horn
They came with all the connector and all I had to do was make up the harnesses
I bolted them together in pairs after modifying the harnesses
Harnesses all hooked up
The two relays, one for each set.
The relays loomed and zip tied down.
I mounted them down underneath. The skid plate will hide them once it is back in place.
